@s.adjani is a budding, driven, newly Bafta award winning writer, actor and director who hails from Jamaica. Before graduating from the Met Film School, he created and ran a production company focusing on adverts, psa’s and corporate videos. During this time he wrote and directed a 13-episode web series, which amassed over 40,000 views in 3 months. In 2013, Adjani dissolved his business and moved to the UK to pursue his Masters in Directing Film. His graduation film, HIS FATHER’S SON, screened at numerous film festivals internationally, including Cannes, Blackstar and the Montreal World Film festival. He is the writer, producer and lead actor for DREAMING WHILST BLACK (watch the webseries here). Adjani filmed a pilot of DREAMING WHILST BLACK for the BBC in early 2021. Once again, Adjani starred in the lead role alongside his writing and producing roles. Early reviews have been excellent – with the show receiving nothing less than 4 stars. The Radio Times wrote: “Salmon’s takes on modern city life, racism and the pain of a self-sabotaging artist are more than enough for a full series.” Watch the pilot here. Over the summer of 2021, Adjani filmed a lead role (alongside fellow guest-star, Aisling Bea, and the Doctor) in the DOCTOR WHO festive special. The special was released on New Year’s Day to effusive praise from critics and audiences. The Telegraph called it – “The best episode in years,” and The Independent wrote that the the special was the series, “Back at its best,” whilst also highlighting Adjani’s performance as particularly charismatic. The Metro and Den of Geek both raved about Adjani’s performance with each respectively writing – “Aisling and Adjani stunned in their guest roles,” and, “It’s Aisling Bea and Adjani Salmon that steal the show this week with two very flawed, vulnerable and human performances.” Adjani will soon be seen in a regular role opposite Sarah Solemani, Steve Coogan, Paul Rudd and Sienna Miller in CHIVALRY for Channel 4. Adjani was recently selected for the The Guardian’s list of “The Hottest new TV Stars for 2022” and I Talk Telly’s list of “22 TV Stars of Tomorrow for 2022”. ✨🟢 May 3, 2022 by clareao with No Comment Lifestyle View on Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CdFzKXjsIrs/

They say it takes 21 days to break / create a habit. I’ve been working out everyday for 22 days solid, and honestly, I’m going to commit to this for the rest of my life. It’s 1.5hrs a day each day where I’m just Clare. Not mum, not wife, not filmmaker, not mentor, not sister, not daughter. It’s just me for me. Meditation, sweat, music, progress, self care. Thank you to everyone in my stories, encouraging me on days when I’m sleep deprived, unwell or simply unmotivated. I still got it in. In life, we’re not always gonna wanna do everything we should do but that’s often the things we must do. Either way, be gentle with yourself ✨❤️ April 1, 2022 by clareao with No Comment Lifestyle View on Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CbzbQRPrKnl/
